Wine Gift Baskets
No matter what the reason, it is very exciting if you obtain one of genuine wine baskets as a present.
Commonly wine baskets are delivered to the receiver at home or workplace.
A huge diversity of wine baskets exists. Some of them may contain fruits, others might include canned or dry foods or non-edibles, or the basket may be a combination of those goods. Gourmet gift baskets usually include exotic fruits and quality cheese, as well as other costly products.
Wine holds a colorful history dating back hundreds and even thousands of years. Wine is generally made from one or more varieties of the grape species, such as Chardonnay, Merlot, Gamay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir. When only one of those grape varieties is used as the prevailing grape, the result is a varietal wine. Blended wines are not regarded inferior to varietal wines. Some of the most luxury wines, from regions like Bordeaux and the Rhone Valley, are blended from different grape varieties of the same vintage.
Usual fruits in gourmet wine baskets include apples, artichokes, avocados, bananas, grapes, lychees, mangoes, oranges, papayas, lemons, pomegranates, pineapples, strawberries.
Canned and dry foods may include coffee, cheese, chocolate, bread, honey, crackers, jam, marmalade, cookies, nuts, soft drinks, tea.
Non-edible additional items normally include money, greeting cards, cut flowers, plants, stuffed animals.
